Agonaman sees massive development whenever the NDC is in power - Agonaman Paramount Chief

 Okofo Okatakyi Nyarko Eku X, the paramount Chief of Agona Nyakrom Traditional Area has bemoaned the lack of progress and development in Agonaman and Agona Nyakrom in particular during a courtesy call on him at his palace in Nyakrom by the National Chairman of the NDC, Hon Johnson Asiedu Nketia.

The Chief expressed his delight at the visit by the Chairman and his high powered delegation including a deputy National Women Organizer, Abigail Elorm Mensah, Deputy national director of Logistics, Alhaji Doku Mohammed, Regional Chairman, Professor Richard Asiedu, Agona West Parliamentary Candidate, Mrs Ernestina Ofori Dangbey,Regional Vice Chairmen; Dr. Shaibu and Hon Ekow Panyin, Regional Organizer, Chief Mike Dery, former MP, Hon Charles Obeng Inkoom among others.

He expressed concern about stalled projects initiated by previous NDC government that have been abandoned particularly the cocoa roads project.

The Chief also lamented about the main bridge construction linking to the town that has seen very little or no progress. Concluding his speech, Nana Nyarko Eku X told the National Chairman of the NDC not to forget Agonaman and Agona Nyakrom when the NDC forms the next government in 2025.
